Holliday who has had an injured quad, was rested trying to keep him in the lineup, without reinjuring it with outfield play. If you have doubts, you should note that Holliday still had to be replaced after running later in the game.

Why didn’t TLR put Craig in RF and DH Berkman today? Is Holiday worse in LF than Berkman is in RF? I’m sure Tony has a good reason and will condescend to explain it if a reporter asks.

Looks like Berkman has found the “Fountain of Youth” in St. Louis? Last season while playing for Houston and The Yankees his bat looked slow, his confidence seemed gone and he seemed ready for retirement. However; the off season move seems to have rejuvenated him to the point where I might want to know what’s in the water at Busch Stadium?
