The two balls he hit prior to the dinger last night seemed to be hit harder than the one that left Petco, both were scalded but died on the vine in the cool Diego night.

I think he’s on the right track but not there just yet, lets see a few more screamers and a few less GIDP’s before we declare him “back”..

I’ll believe the drought is over when he starts hitting lasers off of and over the wall on a regular basis….like he has for the last 10 years. Hopefully, it really is just the mechanics issue related to the front leg and hamstring injury….he has hit a lot of balls to just in front of the wall this year that he seems to think will be long gone when they leave the bat.

If this means that his drought is over, then this is again bad news for the Reds and the NL central division. But it may not be the case, so lets wait a few more games to see. I am still picking the Brewers and now, maybe the Reds are not it.
