absolutly correct…the guy was loaded i’m sure as most ppl in ballparks these days seem to be getting more and more intoxicated. Therefore, they had to wait and then remove his organs, surprisingly, still keeping then useful.

Totally not judging here, as I have been known to knock a few back at the ballpark, but I wonder if organ donation is slowed if the medical teams need to wait until alcohol is processed out of the donor’s system before organs can be harvested.

Railings are guards. They guard the stairs so people dont fall off them. If your talking about a like a security guard person, im sure there was one at the top and bottom of the stairs, but you cant post a person every 2 feet on every set of stairs.

shouldnt there be some kind of protection for some accidently falling over the railing? Yes this idiot was stupid and another candidate for the darwin awards but you would think there should be a guard of some kind to protect against accidents.

Obviously you cannot protect against idiocy so I am of mixed emotions on this. Though I do feel aweful for this mans family

Kind of surprising that the girlfriend’s father’s take-away from all of this is that he doesn’t want to be on the organ-donor list anymore. I’m sure the donation process is fraught with emotional difficulties for the families of the dead, but what about a loved one dying isn’t fraught with emotional difficulties? At least they have the consolation of knowing that his death salvaged lives elsewhere.
