A bit off topic here, but I may be going offline for a good bit of the weekend, so here goes.

This weekend, we need to commemorate the sacrifices made for us and the country. Think of the brave folks who have served in harm's way, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice---as well as less total sacrifices---so that we have the right to putz around here, wiling away hours and hours and wasting gigabytes and megabytes, making snarky and stupid comments about a sport that we love. Take a moment to consider what we have and what we wouldn't have if it hadn't been for those men and women.

And you might want to give a salute, tip of the cap or a simple nod of the head and a thank you to those around you that have served. I certainly will.

As for anybody on this board---and I do mean ANYbody, not just those I agree with---who has served and sacrificed for us, I give a wholehearted thank you. Who knows where we would be if it wasn't for your selfless bravery? The U.S. is the best country in the world, and it wouldn't be so if it wasn't for you.

Happy Memorial Day to the HBT minion family.
