Well, I’m guessing someone put a mic in his face and asked him about the words spoken between the two. That’s really not that hard to believe, in fact, it’s probably much more likely than the guy seeking reporters out to run face. From the article, it sounds rather unlikely that the latter be true.

Maybe reporters should just ask better questions.

Bautista should have said this at this at the press conference-

“I’m funny how? You mean funny like I’m a clown? I amuse you? I make you laugh, I’m here to f#@%in’ amuse you? What do you mean funny? Funny how? How am I funny?”

Danks has his priorities mixed up.. He should have been angry at himself for the way he has been pitching. He seemed to blame Bautista because his record was about to fall to 0 & 8. The poor little crybaby.I obviously have no sympathy for Danks. Just wait until those rabid White Sox fans get to salute him.

Every game you see hitters throw the bat down in disgust knowing they were so close to a solid line drive or possible home run, yet ended with only a pop up. Mr. Danks should learn to channel his anger at maybe getting a W instead of calling the Babe Ruth of baseball these days a clown.

Seriously, though, WTF? I bet JB expects to hit a homer EVERY time he faces someone as crappy as Danks. I saw that pitch on the sports news; it was a meatball. JB came within a centimeter of hitting # 21 right there and he knew it.

Danks isn’t used to opposing batters messing up when he pitches, and wasn’t sure how to react.

With that record and that ERA and after a six-run, 51-pitch first inning, Danks was already agitated beyond words. Any simple thing was going to set him off, and he blew this simple thing properly out of proportion. Bautista may have overreacted a little, but it was nothing that should cause anyone to get bent out of shape. What, hitters can’t be frustrated, too? Danks was blinded by his own frustration and was out of line.
