Glad Lawrie worked out to be nothing more than a bruise. Hard to work on your 3rd base D with a cast on your left forearm. We need this kid to be good, especially offensively. Jayson Nix seems like a nice fella, and he has the cachet of going yard the other day when his brother, Laynce did, but he is offensively challenged otherwise. He seems to have no eye for a good pitch to hit. He needs to spend some time in AAA working on getting that polished. Bring on Lawrie! Let’s see what he’s got.
