Seriously, how does this guy keep getting signed? Same goes for Rich Harden. There has to be better pitchers out there than guys like this. For every Bartolo Colon (who is in a special class by himself) there are 20 re-treads that teams keep signing.

I would love a discussion/study/article, or whatever on the “most overrated no-hitters/perfect games.”

As a Phils fan I know we have had a couple of not-so-good pitchers in Tommy Green and Kevin Millwood throw no hitters. I am not talking about Roy Haliday going out there, while it’s impressive when it’s done, him doing isn’t a “surprise.” Or, if Lincicum threw one, it would be impressive, but not a surprise. Now, if Daniel Hudson threw one, I think there would be a lot of, “Really???”

Think Ben Curtis winning the 2003 British Open. No one is going to confuse Ben Curtis with a great golfer, or all the good to be honest.
