And even if he didn’t start the fire during the game, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t the guy that turned the fan on to try to help it along.

If McCourt was trying to burn down Dodger Stadium to collect the insurance money, we know from every old detective TV series that the time to set these fires is at 2 a.m., when only the elderly night watchman is still around. McCourt would not be dumb enough to set these fires during an actually game. I’m about 80% sure of this. Well, maybe 60%, but no lower.

After reading about how someone literally fanned the flames, I’m not so sure that’s sarcasm.

After all, he has to have run out of cash advances by now and has to make the June payroll somehow.
