Zimmerman/Harper/Rendon/Strasburg/Storen/Zimmermann/Ramos + Espinosa/Desmond/Morse/Etc...

There's a solid foundation and some good role-players. It's scary to think that a Nats/Royals World Series could be a legit possibility in a couple of years here...

I think there are 2 issues with Strasburg:

1. Can he return fully healthy? Given how many successful Tommy John surgeries we've seen I think he should be fine eventually.

2. Can he keep his velocity and stuff while changing his mechanics in order to stay healthy? From what I read (I think Verducci had a piece on this last year) Strasburg has some mechanical issues which, if not fixed, could leave him perpetually injured. To me this is the bigger question for his long term development. Assuming he gets healthy, can he stay healthy without sacrificing the stuff that makes him so lethal?

Rendon is represented by Boras, and he has withheld his medical file. If he is healthy and stays that way the Nationals should have a great young core of Strasburg (if he comes back %100), Harper, and Rendon.
