that said, Mauer’s performance at A-ball has been kind of scary. look for him to struggle as gets used to facing actual MLB pitching again. w/ the small sample size, his lone homer makes his SLG and OPS look deceptively decent. It’s just odd to see the batting champ hitting .263 against that kind of pitching.
