Not only is that very awkwardly worded, but it doesn’t make any sense. Since a normal switch hitter would bat right handed versus lefties, I’m guessing that it’s supposed to read “he’s hit … as a righty and … as a lefty.” Either that or it’s the other way around, but “as a righty” and “versus lefties” would be the same thing for any non-mentally challenged switch hitter.
