Well I can rest easier now. 10 games should be easy for that crew to make. In the unlikely event that they are say 9.5 up, or some such, is it cold and wet in September there like it is here?

Yeah start time temp was in the upper 70s. It was 58 when he left. 20 degree temp drop, humidity shoots up, its understandable.

Lefty II will be fine. Hour-long pregame rain delay obviously hurt him a little, plus the fact that the Phillies had a couple long innings and it wasn’t the warmest night either.

Cy Cole will be fine. He has an excellent masseuse that travels with him and takes care of his back. The masseuse will pamper his back a little extra today so he can get back to mowing down the rest of the league.

He has already said he’s fine and will make his next start.

“Early reports say that Hamels only had a “knot” in his back, which will allow many to breathe a little easier. After the game, he exclaimed he would absolutely be making his next start, that his back tightened up a bit. Still, for a few minutes everyone muttered to themselves “knot again.” (Spell check, please).”
