So scratch Reyes off your wish list. Not going to happen.
But it’s nice to dream of a Yankees line up in 2012 that consisted of:
Reyes, SS batting 1st
Granderson, CF batting 2nd
Tex. 1B batting 3rd
A-Rod 3B batting 4th
Cano 2b batting 5th
Swisher or Beltran RF batting 6th (Beltran on a 1 year deal would be ideal)
Montero DH batting 7th
Martin C batting 8th
Gardner LF batting 9th

But alas then I woke up and realized it was just a dream. my friend.
