If he does in fact pitch an AAA game I may have to check it out so long as it is in Scranton. I was at the game Saturday when former A's and Rockies pitcher Greg Smith led the way by pitching 7 in what turned out to be a 1-hitter against Colombus who is tops in the International League.

Too bad he won't be back in time to hit a couple of home runs in interleague.

Anyhoo, we can preserve hope that he can bounce back to be our #3 for the rest of the season. Now, lest anyone think I'm ever negative about the Universe, it looks like AJ is in proper form. Gordon's 2nd start tomorrow will determine his further use in long relief or spot starts.
Of course there's room for more to cover for an eventuality (you know what I mean, by crackie).

It has come up in this esteemed forum that Nunez's faux pas are of concern. Back in the day, before rehab at the New York School of Ballet, I recall a certain shortstop who didn't quite have his ship legs yet. Since graduating from there 10 years ago, continuance of education brought him to the NYU Political School of Avoidance.

Now, back to the double-wide. Have a correspondence class due for the Univ. of Phoenix.
