Getty Images John Fay reports that Aroldis Chapman will not be activated from the disabled list today, but rather, will be optioned to Triple-A Louisville.
Chapman had another nice outing for Louisville yesterday, but the Reds likely want to make sure that’s more the norm than his horrific performances from earlier in his rehab stint and for the Reds before he went on the DL.

wow they actually did the right thing for a change. now just keep him there untill he proves he can do the job consistently, which means not walking 5 guys a night no matter how many strikeouts he gets.

Chapman don’t needs prove nothing. He only needs go New York Yankees. Dusty Baker and Walt
Jocketty wants destroy to Chapman. He is a superstar and until the mediocre Cincinnati trade to him, he
must continue the boycott.

No he’s not a superstar, he’s a side-show. A live arm with bad mechanics, undeveloped secondary pitches, and too little time actually pitching. He needs to learn how to get hitters out instead of obsessing about throwing hard to the detriment of performance/results.
