I am pretty sure that making friends isn’t high on Keith’s agenda. Like most who swim upstream, he cares little about bruising egos and abrading feelings, that is more for those content to go with the flow. As a note to those who feel the need to assuage their fragile psyches with the notion that he is unpopular, perhaps you should consult the Nielsen Ratings, which indicate he was by far the most watched liberal commentator on Cable TV, and people like Dan Patrick and Bob Costas continue to hold him in their highest esteem and call him friend.

First off, Keith Olbermann knows more about baseball than the entire blogging universe here. Second, he has rarely, if ever been fired, without behaviors that he choose knowing full well the ultimate outcome. Third, he is extremely hard-working, magically productive, and his eloquence is rare in Journalism today. His bombastic style is off-setting to many, but that is due more to the content of his message than delivery. Of course, he is controversial, but that is more to the inbred, conservative minds that see the future of America in the hands of the ignorant Palin/Bush/Bachman types. Hate him if you choose, but I bet every reader here would be enthralled, mesmerized, and astounded by his vast reservoir of baseball lore, anecdotes and facts would they take the time to listen.

That is the most offensive thing I have ever read here. I am not sure if you are aware of how obscenely offensive using ‘dyke’ can be. I have never read something so ignorant and rude on this blog, and that is saying a lot.

The problem, according to quantum theory, is that the observer of an experiment affects the outcome by the mere fact of observing it. When the observer is a right-wing knuckledragger, of course, the results are skewed. That may be why you’re having trouble seeing it.
