Watch the Rays play. Fuld has been a top-notch outfielder all season long. He is brave, fearless and a bit arch. The Rays are different from Red Sox and Yankees…they care about the full range of the game. That is why the Rays and their fans see that Sam is a baseball player who is more than a cut-out. Once in a while, just once in a while some one somewhere gets a little coverage who isn’t on the Red Sox or Yankees and you just tinkle all over it. You are so cynical. You are so in the tank for them. There are other teams, too, Craig. O, and BTW, it isn’t a genius act to just read the magazine. But you’d have to take a few moments out of Yankee/Red Sox adulation.
