There’s no question Selig was complicit in McCourt’s purchase of the team – What he got, I have no idea, but there’s no way someone with the financial background of Jamie McCourt got to purchase a major league team without the fix being in.

Agree with the posters who mentioned Bud’s pictures. It’s to the point that the story is meaningless compared to the massive Bud Selig “emotions” photo collection. This particular pic is right on point.

McCourt is a sleeeze (he was using the team for his own benefit, as if it were an ATM – If I were a player on the team, I’d be fighting mad) – Selig should take the team away on principal – After all, how can a player play to his / her best when he/she is worried about getting paid? I’d really, really like to know the details of the deal that the sleeze ball did to get ownership of the team – when apparently, all he actually owns is a parking garage somewhere on the east coast – I’m just sayin – how the hell did that happen? Why MLB (the conglomerate) didn’t have a say in that, or have at the very least, an oversight committee – is way beyond my Jane Doe comprehension – McCourt has sullied America’s game, I hope he does time in purgatory for it.

McCourt will litigate until the bitter end. Even after the Dodgers are taken from him he’ll sue for years, claiming damages. He’s that type of rich jerk. Years after the Dodgers are owned by someone else, he’ll be filing lawsuits against MLB.
