Vogey finishes with 5 innings pitched, 3 earned runs allowed (6 total — thank you, Bill Hall), 6 K, 4 BB. His ERA is now a whopping 2.09. 2 HRs for the Cubs on a day when the Wrigley weather is hitter friendly. Vogelsong left the game with a 6 run lead, so he’s got a pretty good shot at the W.

Not a quality start, but if this is his idea of a “meltdown” I think most Giants fans will take it.

It was funny the first few times. At this point, you’ve not only killed the joke, you jumped up and down on the corpse, ran a steamroller over it, cut the flattened remains into thousands of tiny pieces, and scattered them over the seven seas. We get it, he misspelled biceps and compounded his mistake by making some controversial, possibly idiotic comments at first. Shockingly enough, that’s not a never-ending well of comedy.
