Lets not be throwing anybody under the bus yet. He needs to pitch effectively in the majors first. I m sure the Yankees willbe hapy to have that problem.

screenname529 – Both Cashman and Girardi have unofficially stated that Hughes will start, period. And also the way Colon has pitched since replacing Hughes means he will remain in the starting rotation. Between Nova and Garcia, Nova is by far the weakest link in the rotation he’s very inconsistent and almost never makes it past the 6 inning and sometimes that that far. He is far more suited to be the long relief guy.

That’s not a problem because they will move Nova to the bullpen when both Hughes and Colon are healthy.

Wonderful news for Yankees fans and their team that has been absolutely depleted with injuries. Hughes(and his when healthy 2010 4.19 ERA) can come in now and join the staff as the #5 starter behind CC, AJ, Garcia and Nova. The question is, where will they put him when Colon comes back? In the bullpen?
