Someone sign that Cubs fan

Question: does the guy who threw back Miguel Tejada’s home run ball at Wrigley Field the other day have a better arm or a worse arm than Johnny Damon?

And how cool is it that Tejada got to keep his home run ball?

I do believe, back in the dawnnatime when baseball was played by a bunch of different sets of rules, there was a version of baseball where if he’d hit Tejada with the ball then Miggy would have been out. That was one HELL of a throw.

Not to be a killjoy, but don’t they have to throw that guy out of the stadium there? I mean, it’s one thing to nonchalantly throw the ball back. It’s quite another to almost hit the opposing team’s player with the ball. Sheesh…if this had happened in Philly…oh I won’t even go there or I’ll risk yet another 75+ comments section before lunch. We don’t really need that do we?

    • marshmallowsnake - Jun 30, 2011 at 12:06 PM

You would not get the comments…HalladaysBiceps has been banned…

      • Mr. Jason "El Bravo" Heyward - Jun 30, 2011 at 12:23 PM

        but was bicepts banned?

      • jjschiller - Jun 30, 2011 at 1:43 PM

No way really? No more cepts?

I’m going to have to work alot harder for a laugh now.. And what am I gonna do with all those extra t’s I picked up?

Do you think I still have to eat this bag of dickts?

      • skerney - Jun 30, 2011 at 1:46 PM

        really, whats that all about?

      • jjschiller - Jun 30, 2011 at 2:11 PM

        What’s what all about?

        The extra t’s?

        Bicepts getting banned?

Bicepts always dishing out the bags of dicks?

Honestly, the third one answers the second. And the first, he called himself Bicepts. Like that’s a word.

      • paperlions - Jun 30, 2011 at 2:20 PM

I know, right? It is “suck a bag of dicks” not “eat a bag of dicks”….if you can’t get that right, you’ll be shown the door eventually.

    • Mr. Jason "El Bravo" Heyward - Jun 30, 2011 at 12:25 PM

It’s Cubbie tradition. I assume if someone launched a laser from the stands clearly directed at a player there’d be some repercussions though.

A worse arm than Johnny Damon’s?

A smaller pathogen than a prion?

    • thekcubrats - Jun 30, 2011 at 12:22 PM

I wish I had said that.

      • thekcubrats - Jun 30, 2011 at 12:32 PM

        OG… or is that CH?

      • Old Gator - Jun 30, 2011 at 2:31 PM

  6. FC - Jun 30, 2011 at 12:26 PM

“Bring me that ARM!” Wish I had the youtube clip to go along with it….

  7. shawon0meter - Jun 30, 2011 at 1:29 PM

A little coaching from Lou Brigma and Chet Steadman and this kid has a chance.

  8. winkeroni - Jun 30, 2011 at 2:36 PM

Don’t discount that catch. Unlike a lot of fan catches this fella didn’t have a glove. It’s also worth noting that the didn’t crow hop that ball either. Perhaps John Candy was right the Cubs do have more talent in the stands than on the field.
