Don’t discount that catch. Unlike a lot of fan catches this fella didn’t have a glove. It’s also worth noting that the didn’t crow hop that ball either. Perhaps John Candy was right the Cubs do have more talent in the stands than on the field.

Not to be a killjoy, but don’t they have to throw that guy out of the stadium there? I mean, it’s one thing to nonchalantly throw the ball back. It’s quite another to almost hit the opposing team’s player with the ball. Sheesh…if this had happened in Philly…oh I won’t even go there or I’ll risk yet another 75+ comments section before lunch. We don’t really need that do we?

I do believe, back in the dawnnatime when baseball was played by a bunch of different sets of rules, there was a version of baseball where if he’d hit Tejada with the ball then Miggy would have been out. That was one HELL of a throw.
