Cecil showed up for Yankees Old Timers Day last weekend and he looked … remarkably good. He may have acutally lost weight since his playing days. Not like Doc Gooden, however, who apparently swallowed Ray Knight.

I went to an Angels game in 1998, when Cecil Fielder was playing for them. At the time, I was 6’3″ and weighed 340. Cecil was listed at 6’3″, 230. I was down at field level getting autographs and whatnot, and there came a time when I was basically standing right next to Cecil. And I’m not gonna lie — he made me look skinny. Okay, maybe not skinny, but he was noticeably larger than I was in the midsection.
