He was having a dynamite season before playing hurt. If we had a credible back up in the minor leagues Polanco would have been on the DL already. As a matter of fact I count the Phillies lucky that aside from Utley none of their other regular infielders have gone down. If you check the farm system, they’ve been hurt exactly where they currently have talent: Rotation and Bullpen.
