The Dodgers have Dodger Stadium and Vin Scully; after that the stuff that’s happened to them began a slide downhill when they traded Mike Piazza and had that sorry GM who did it. Claire something. Ever since they lost their focus as a baseball team they’ve lost their way.

In the article above, MLB says that Selig is…”a singularly unique, public figure who should not be subject to unwarranted harassment and discovery abuses.”

I wonder how the commissioner is above being deposed for a court case. I wonder what Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton would think of Bud’s exalted status.

I don’t like McCourt either, but it is his team, his money and his choice as to how he runs it. If he wants to sign a deal with Fox for $3 billion or $3 dollars only, it should be his choice. What other team, not in New York, has a $3 billion TV deal?

Bud and Frank deserve to both go down along with MLB’s bogus antitrust exemption.

Frank McCourt, not even close. The Casey Anthony case was in Florida. Floridians have very low regard for Californians in general, at least my Florida family has a very low regard for me, and I’d say California residents don’t think much about what goes on in Florida, a hell hole of heat and humidity, swamps and mosquitoes. Except for Miami, of course, with its colorful nightlife, ethnic cuisine, and excellent coffee.

Who is hated more in Cali right now? Frank McCourt or Casey Anthony? Not that I watched the case but that’s all the wife has been talking about.
