Nope. Not at this site. Craig can ban whomever he wants and has recently done so. He accompanied the ban with a long post on the subject and the modicum of decency expected around here. hardball talk is not the yahoo news comment section so don’t expect the dregs of society to last around here very long.

No, because NBC and %99.9 of the world’s online content is all about traffic. Traffic=More people=businesses ads are seen=The almighty $$ and/or attention because it’s what most people crave/desire so NBC/CBS/FOX/, etc. will continue to turn the other cheek to allow the immoral garbage that draws any attention to that allows them to promote/advertise whatever it is that makes money. [Yes, I know this is a hypocritical post]

That ball was a rocket. You could almost sense it, the way Hamilton looked at the plate against Bailey. Bailey, knowing Hamilton is an aggressive hitter, threw two sliders at his ankles, but Hamilton took both. Then the 2-0 cutter didn’t cut and Hamilton destroyed it, at least 5 rows into the upper deck on a line.

Thing is, Hamilton should never have come to the plate. Conor Jackson, at first because the A’s traded Brett Wallace and now somebody has to play there (and because their other options are even worse defensively), ranged too far to his right on a ground ball by Andrus, immediately preceeding Hamilton in the lineup. Weeks came up with the ball easily, but by then Jackson could not get back to the bag and the speedy Andrus was safe, both players unhurt in the ensuing collision. So instead of out number three, Bailey faced Hamilton as the winning run.
