I love how the warnings were issued after the Sox hit TWO Oriole hitters, insuring that if the O’s retaliated they would be in the wrong.

Lackey actually hit two guys last night. He got Markakis the inning before. But, whatever, I guess that’s not worthy of an article calling him an idiot like Kevin Gregg got the night before for hitting exactly two less batters than Lackey.

And, if Derek Lee is a class act for simply taking his base after getting beaned, then what is David Ortiz for charging the mound after not got hitting?

That’s one hell of an accomplishment the O’s are at the bottom of the barrel. Point being if Lackey (lacking) can beat any team that team must have problems. I think his era was over nine coming into that start.
