Roy could throw 250 pitches if he needed to and would do it with no problem. He’s a machine.

Lincecum has been awful this year and does not deserve to be an All Star. The way this game is a popularity contest instead of the actual best players in the league is a joke. Especially since they made it matter to World Series home field advantage. A team should not be penalized in the World series because of an exhibition game. The only good thing about the All Star break is the HR contest, the actual game itself is garbage.

Roy Cliff and Cole aren’t vaginas like most pitchers in the league. Roy has even said it himself… how much difference does pitching 130 pitches vs 110 make? He’ll take 20 pitches off his bullpen session the next day. If these guys can pitch 180 innings, whats another 20 or 30? If you’re in the proper shape, you’re not going to be ‘worn out’. My guess is that a lot of guys don’t like doing the necessary training in between starts to stay up with the stamina.

I hear he plans on letting him pitch all nine. You know, to help the rest of the NL by putting extra miles on his arm.
