Any reason why these teams will fall apart? Everyone said the Indians were a fluke after 2 weeks.. They are still leading the division, albeit not at the blistering pace they were, and they have experienced quite a few injuries to their veterans. White Sox added Adam Dunn as one of the "final pieces" and he has been unbelievably bad. Yet they are still hanging around. The Tigers look like a good team. If their young guys pitch consistently they can take over this division and run away with it.

They all have reasons why they can succeed and fail just like the Twins do. Simply saying that 3 teams will wilt down the stretch while the Twins play .600 ball doesn't cut it for me.

I root for the Twins. I am a huge fan. I wouldn't enjoy it if they became sellers at the deadline but I think it is best for the franchise. Thumbs down away.

Do you realize who those 3 teams are though? Indians will fall apart, soon, White Sox will collapse as they do every year, only real competition I think is the Tigers and even they're questionable.

5 back but there are 3 teams ahead of them. I say they should sell high on Cuddy. We owe almost $66 million to 8 players next year already (This is with the $2 mill for Nathan's buyout. To pick up his option is another $10.5 mill). Cuddy makes $10.5 mill this year so whatever he's asking for will bump that total up even more.

All this being said I hope they win and win a lot.

The Twins are just 5 back. They would have to explode in the upcoming series' versus the Tribe and Tigers to become sellers in the first place. I don't really see them doing too much other than try to send a package to get a reliever. As a Twins fan, Heath Bell would be a great addition. However, I don't think we have the minor league prospects to outdo other buyers.
