June 24th – before Justin Morneau had his surgery Jim Souhan tweeted ” Morneau will undergo surgery to alleviate neck pain, will be out about 6 weeks from next week’s surgery.”

That is pretty clear cut that he wouldn’t be back until AT LEAST the second week of August.

Now let’s us all realize that you have absolutely no idea what your talking about, and that you are just blindly rambling about a situation that you obviously have no clue about.

Field staffing issues? Really. WTF are you talking about? Seems very cut and dry a week before the surgery that a definite timetable had already been set.

It seems like every time a Twins player is injured, the Twins medical staff is unable to get them back on the field within their announced timetable for return. So I am wondering now, is the staff terrible at estimating recovery times or just terrible at getting the players back on the field? I don’t know if other teams have the same problem, but I wonder if maybe the Twins have some off the field staffing issues affecting the product on the field.
