We couldn't find/use a more authoritative picture of Kipnis swinging other than one where he is apparently fouling the ball off his foot?

The Indian front office has had no clue what they're doing since Hart and his people left and Shapiro and his PR silver tongue and computers moved in.

The Indians had it great when they culd say they had prospects in Columbus. Now they're calling them up. Phelps made it up for a month or so and went right back down. Chisenhall is a nice enough guy but is not ready for major league ball. The young starting pitchers are getting bounced around now that the scouts and teams have seen them.

I wish Kipnis well. But Indian fans expecting anything are setting themselves up for a letdown.

So the Jason Kipnis Watch is over? Gone the way of the Eric Hosmer, Brandon Belt, Mike Moustakas, Dustin Ackley, etc., Watches? Good. And good luck to Kipnis.

It's fascinasting, in these days of the televised draft, Top 100 Prospect list (with mid-season update), Futures Game, and tempest in a teapot over some teenager making a rude gesture in a Sally League game, to see the obsession over when some kids are going to make their MLB debuts.

As a Baseball America subscriber, this isn't a criticism. Just an observation.
