Both of his parents began working when thay were teenagers. In signing now, he is following family tradition.

He could be good. His old man had tremendous hand eye skills and an awareness of others around him that hockey rarely sees. If he’s even 50% the athlete and 2/3 as smart as his old man he’s at least 2 times better than tons of guys currently in MLB. You could drop him in for Adam Dunn and probably see a drastic improvement from that spot in the lineup I bet.
