I would expect the Yankees to go harder after CJ Wilson than Darvish. He may only be 24 years old, but there are a shit-ton of innings on his arm. Wilson is a more proven commodity.

Even after the Kei Igawa disaster I see the Yankees going through the roof for this kid. It’s one way to possibly acquire top notch pitching w/o trading away the farm system in a pitching thin market that is devoid of top tier free agent arms next off-season.

Not as laughable as it used to be, the Lerners having shown they will let Rizzo spend the big bucks. Still wouldn’t expect the Nats to win an auction for Darvish’s services.
