I agree…I think Mayberry has better raw talent and Mayberry has made some adjustment to become a decent player at the major league level.

I DID agree with RAJ holding Brown and coveting his “potential” the past few years but now Brown has had time to play and we are starting to see what he is made of. Granted he is young, he can not help the team now. I do not know about you but this team is built to win now! So make the trade! He11, I will even throw in Worley simply because his stock is high but he will be nothing more than a 3rd or 4th in a solid rotation (teams can not figure him out yet because he hides the ball well, other than the one cutter he has, none of his stuff is mind blowing)….

I agree, good Dr. Brown may be a talent down the line, but Hunter Pence is right now. We need a right handed bat, he might be the best option, he’s 28, the Phils control him for at least another year, and Brown is hurting you in the outfield and the lineup. I want a world series, not just the playoffs.

I’m not sure how much longer the Phillies can trot Brown out there in right field. He has to dramatically improve his defense. At this point he is hurting the team. It might be time to put Mayberry Jr. out there. He is a significant defense upgrade.

If we keep Spence does that make the team better going forward? No. If we keep Spencer does his trade value get any higher.does the team suck with Spence? Yes. No. So why keep Hunter Spence? Because Dead head Ed is dumber then a box of rocks. True enough.

Someone who was supposed to be traded from the Royals last year was injured like a week before the deadline. I don’t remember who, but perhaps this is cautionary.

Still seems strange to leave him out of the lineup. Especially when he is the best player on your team.
