Picture of the Day: What to do with those old Rasmus jerseys

Jul 28, 2011, 4:49 PM EDT

What should Cardinals fans do with their old Colby Rasmus jerseys and shirseys? Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post Dispatch spotted a fan at last night’s game who made his own modifications:

Anybody know what to do with a Beltran jersey? My “friend” has one… 😦

Same as any Met’s jersey… wipe with it…

The real story is that his buddy is rocking a Schumaker. The team shop was all out of Puntos, I assume.

A tad inaccurate. He left willingly. He did ask for a trade.

I thought for sure it would be to remove the R**MU*.

Oh come on. 4 up 10 down. Im not saying that’s what he is. But if I was a Cards fan, that’s what I would do if a guy requested multiple times to be traded.

Root for the laundry, not the player.

He ran himself out of town. Hope he likes Canada and the nastyness that is the AL East…

Looks like Toronto has opened Pandora’s box, that didn’t take long…

Oh yes, this will work for sure. We can see that it is all the big bad bully LaRussa. Daddy is sure to be the best coach. Why don’t they hire him? On the other hand, I think Milton Bradley could be great if any of the clubs just hired momma to show them how it is done. The Babe has to be laughing in the grave!

Pretty easy to spot the Cards fans/TLR apologists in this thread. Hey guys, the Cardinals are a great franchise, and TLR is insanely successful. But you HAVE to admit that he is an insufferable jackass. If you are cool with that for the sake of the wins, I don’t blame you. But don’t pretend it’s not true.

Sometimes those “bridges you build”, later come in handy to jump off of.
