Chen and Francis have been effective at times, wouldn’t cost very much and it’s good to have depth…Davies has just been bad bad bad.

But for any Royals fans out there (I haven’t watched him pitch very much) he does have pretty decent stuff, doesn’t he? Change of scenery? I dunno, if I were the Royals I’d probably trade him for a baseball or two, but I watched him pitch against the Sox and was surprised how bad his numbers were because his stuff didn’t look bad. Then again we did light him up…

Having read a lot of Bob Dutton’s Royals coverage, all I can say is there’s no way he wrote that with a straight face.

You gotta love local humor. The point is, the T-Bones play near in a development in KCK anchored by the Kansas Speedway and Cabela’s. Naturally, then, there’s also a Hooters nearby.

Just maybe there is something freakish about one of these guys, like Albert pujols is 0-20 against them and they are being bought to try and get one out in the 8th on the nlcs.. or some crack induced hallucination like that.

I shouldn’t have to wait too much longer until Guthrie and his 3-14 record garnish some interest. Suppose I shouldn’t be holding my breath like this.

Bruce Chen doesn’t scare anyone, but he’s been effective at times this year.
