According to SI.com’s Jon Heyman, the Rockies have just scratched right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez from his scheduled Saturday start against the Padres. Esmil Rogers will take the bump instead.

Jimenez has been linked to a variety of teams this week, but the Indians are now making a hard charge and may be willing to include top pitching prospects Alex White and Drew Pomeranz in a potential deal.

More to come.

A very nice haul for the Rockies. A very questionable trade by the Indians. It will probably not get them to the World Series any time this decade.
