I kinda knew, as the eighteen million dollar baby squatting behind the plate this season evolved into a mega-bust, that Scrooge McLoria would be next to impossible to coax into another substantial expenditure on players in the near future (to say the least). I think the Feesh’s recalcitrance at this deadline is symptomatic of our burned baby fleeing the fire.
