Yeah, Blue Bottle, but work required me to be late to comment today, so another day when nobody will read this. That aside, it would not surprise me in the least if Lew is already lobbying Bud to take over the Dodgers, and leave Fisher with the A's. Lew is from LA also, and has run the A's similarly to the way Angelos has run the O's: profiting while playing to an empty house and fielding a last place or near last place team every year. And yes, Bud has his back. These guys make Arte Moreno look like the greatest owner on the West Coast, at least he's trying to win and his house is full.

Lew was a fraternity brother of Bud at Wisconsin, so the comment appears OK.

But, if McCourt is pried out of the owner's chair and the A's don't get the stadium deal in the South Bay done, Wolff may be the first person in line to buy the Dodgers.

I'm sure APBA Guy will chime in when his first cup of Blue Bottle begins circulating through his brain this morning, but how about that great photo of an insouciant Wolff with his little cup of Blue Bottle enjoying that vista of empty seats? I know that view, more or less, from the third deck of Joeprodolshark Stadium, to which I occasionally climb to collect lost golf balls. But of course Lew can pose for that shot anytime he wants, and I have to wait for a game day.
