Then, and this may seem callous, dress them up in White Sox gear and drop them off in front of Comerica park here in Detroit, and my buddies and I will work out some some recession based frustration on those pieces of trash. the flight from Cali to the D would give them time to heal up before they got here and then we could start all over again.
All joking aside, those ba****ds should be banned from EVERY ball park for the rest of eternity. Baseball fans are generally like heavy metal fans around here, we wanna have a good time, not worry about if we gotta watch our backs and be on edge because of db’s like those two

Amazingly bad way to make your point. It is fair to ask why his friends did nothing to prevent him from getting kicked in the head several times, though. That being said, these guys deserve some serious jail time. I believe I read somewhere that they both have a lengthy criminal history. 17-25 sounds about right to me. But like the guy wrote above, it will probably be a fraction of that due to the archaic 3 strike laws that only function to worsen already overcrowded prisons.

I’ve always thought the penalty for attempted murder should be the same as for murder? Are you really less dangerous to society just because you accidentally didn’t kill the guy you tried to kill?

Humanity has survived this long because in the olden days filth like this was dealt with swiftly and severely. Predators should be dealt with the same whether they walk upright or on all fours.

I think a “just” sentence would be to drop them off in their Dodgers gear with signs held high identifying them as Stow’s attackers… right outside AT&T Park, with no security in sight, just after a game. They could even limit the sentence to about, what, 10 minutes?

Craig, thanks for keeping this story front-and-center. We don’t get as many updates as they’re probably seeing in the Bay Area. Regardless of the prison system situation in CA, I hope these idiots get what they deserve, if in fact they’re proven to be the ones who did it (remember, they originally were suspecting a wrong guy; looks like they got it right this time though).

“dixon”, that cage you referred to, I think it measures about 6′ x 8′ with vertical metal posts spaced about 4 inches apart all the way across, with no windows

Pretty sad that all you want to do is take your kids to a ball game and you even have to think about being safe.

Something tells me sentencing goes off without a hitch. Whether they spend their entire sentence behind bars is another issue.

it was first reported that there were no witnesses because it was dark. now it comes out that stow had “friends” close enough to see his head bounce off the pavement . wow his friends must feel great and really manly. so theres a group of atleast 3 grown men and they let 2 sub-humans beat one of their party to death? IT IS amazing we have lasted this long. if i were stows family member i would want to go visit his buddies with a baseball bat

We’ll see how sentencing goes. You may get even sicker. SoCal jails are full of guys in on two strike stuff, like two marijuana possessions. Heinous as their crimes are, brace yourself for some affront to the concept of justice during the prosecution and sentencing.
