I’m not sure Bastardo speaks much English either. At least I’ve never heard him speak English. As I have said before, he was something of a mentor out there. What would it hurt to have him sitting out there in tennis shoes hanging out with the guys? It was his sole benefit to the team anyway.

I couldn’t understand why they signed him in the first place- he was pretty awful in Baltimore. Maybe they figured moving him out of the AL East would help or something…
