The demise of Mariao Rivera has been happening for about the last 7 yrs. It’s a credit to him that every time he hits a speedbump, people overreact and think he’s finished because everyone expects him to be perfect every time out.

I’m just sayin he’s not automatic anymore. after all he’s 41 and most of these guys have seen him a ton of times, but as I said in earlier posts you have Soriano or Robertson if need be. I think down the road Robertson will inherit the job. I just want to see Mo get to be all time saves leader and call it a career. We’ll never see another one like him.

Did he already tie the record for the most seasons with 29 saves?

I forgot the Angels had Branyan. Why didn’t he play the first 2 games? He ALWAYS kills the Yankees.
