Video of the Day: Batting Stance Guy impersonates the baseball talking heads

Aug 16, 2011, 5:40 PM EDT

I saw references to this video floating around the web earlier today and didn’t think much of it. I like Batting Stance Guy, but I didn’t figure it could be that great.

But it is that great. I think Tim Kurkjian is the best — I don’t literally laugh out loud very often, but this time I did — but the Jon Heyman tweet may have put it over the top.

Hahaha. That was entertaining. And mostly pretty spot on.

    Fucking hell, that was outstanding.

I bet Heyman takes it personal….

Very silly, and I also enjoyed the Pedro Gomez impersonation.

Batting Stance Guy wins all the internets.

  5. Chris Fiorentino - Aug 16, 2011 at 6:16 PM

That was awesome. Loved Rosenthal the best. He is exactly like that. And Olney…classic. TIMMAY and Heyman were good too and I agree that Heyman will probably get pissed.

Rosenthal was right on the money for sure.

Heyman will probaly tweet something lambasting BSG, dude’s the epitome of weasel…

I think Heyman just gave Chris and I thumbs down…

One criticism: Sager’s outfit was too subdued.

I just put the Phils game on mute to watch that. Which is fine, because I don’t really like the Phillies.

It’s all right. The road to recovery starts with the first step.

    Amazing

  9. Brian Murphy - Aug 16, 2011 at 7:28 PM

This is one of those videos that gets funnier each time you watch it.

Ya’ll live in a parallel universe.

I’m actually a little disappointed he didn’t have Kurkjian saying something about how “this is one of the most amazing things we’ve ever seen!”

    The wigs…oh, the wigs…hahaha
