In 140 at bats for the Mariners, Carp has 6 home runs, 26 RBI’s, a .329 BA and a .529 slugging percentage. That is not a fish tale. So far,Trout’s performance has been not been sizzling. Toss the Trout back. The Carp is the keeper.

He should be able to scale up his production. The fans will be lured to the stands to watch him, bobbin’ their heads in approval when they spot his accomplishments. I’m sure his name will spawn all sorts of good nicknames.
