I agree I don’t want someone’s career in jeopardy. I just meant, for example, as a Rays fan, I am not disappointed Arod took a month longer to heal than Chipper did, although it was the same injury. I don’t mean I want someone in pain for an extended period of time, I just hope their hamstring takes 30 days to heal completely, and not 20. They aren’t in pain, they just aren’t 100%

It is OK to hope that they wait until they are completely healed before they return. We do not want the Red Sox to rush them back at the expense of their career. As Drew is probably going to retire at the end of the season It is OK to hope that he is inserted into the Sox lineup ASAP. The Rays need his bat in the Red Sox lineup.

I will never wish injuries on someone. But as a Rays fan, is it okay to hope someone who is already injured, has their injuries last longer than expected?
