Love the picture with the playcard in front of his face. Just like a paranoid NFL coach.

Ha Ha. Thanks for pointing that out. Hadn’t figured out what he was doing til you said something.

Looks like the Rays would be sellers now if they had anyone who made enough money to slip through waivers.

No, they wouldn’t. They’re 69-58. That would be 1st place in the AL Central even without adjusting for not having to play an unbalanced schedule in the same division as the Yankees, Red Sox, and Orioles.

Imagine if the Ray or Blue Jays were in the AL Central. They’d probably have records rivaling the Yankees and Red Sox playing all those mediocre teams more often.

And if the Yankees or Red Sox played in the AL Central, there would be talk about whether 117 wins is possible or not.

Also, if your aunt had balls, she would be your uncle.

What if his aunt had his uncle’s balls? Meh…never mind it sounds like marriage.

That comment about the aunt having balls really made me chuckle this morning. I’ve got to remember that for future use… You just made my morning.

Ooh…hey everybody, look what a crazy kook this guy is!

I know that colorful characters are good for the game, but there’s something about Maddon that seems desperate and contrived. Give me a genuine weirdo like Bill Spaceman Lee any day of the week.

He isn’t as crazy as he looks. Him and Raheem Morris have become good friends. Morris sports Rays gear all over town, and even co-managed a spring training game. They help each other’s teams try to sell tickets. Maddon was waiting for a home sweep to put on some bucs gear to show his thanks to Raheem Morris.

On a side not, the Rays are 10-2 and on a 5 game win streak. The Yanks and Sox can’t get comfortable yet. If this team gets to 90 wins, Maddon deserves manager of the year, playoffs or not.
