I honestly did not know that there were still teams that did it. Let me put it this way. Here in Philly, they would never do it. Even if every game was not a sellout, they would not lose the gate money from a single game. I don't agree with it. They should reward their fans everyonce in a while, but that's just the way it is.

I guess smaller market teams are still doing one-admission doubleheaders it to draw attendance interest.

Hurricane tracking is trickier than predicting AJ's mood after a lead-off double.
Yesterday, landfall was to be right between MB and Wilmington, today for all we know it will land in Cape May. And roll right up I-95 dowsing everything north of Congressionalland for two days. (Don't worry, they're safely in recess).
At any rate, it puts our 5game sweep somehow in Jeopardly, but will at least quickly dispel Gator's misery of being two games further away from the inexplicable emancipator.

"...with one ticket getting you in to both games."

In today's baseball greed climate, this is unheard of. Of course many years ago doubleheaders were built into the schedule before the season started, which I miss.

I'm guessing since the Marlins don't get great attendance anyways, it really doesn't matter.

Normally you would be in luck to get a double header but not at that stadium. What a dump.
Seat Nazi's that will enforce exact seating on a week day game.
They have the rudest staff in sports.
Some seats are above sewage drains.

And what ever you do, don't eat there....
