I’ve got to disagree with you there. In the post juicing era .300 hitters that can hit 40-50 HRs and are a lock for 100+ RBI aren’t found on trees anymore. I think the market for top end pitchers will be slower than the market for Fielder and Pujols. But as always time will tell.

I hope CC gets a bigger contract than Prince, because that would mean Prince took a below market deal to stay in Milwaukee. Where he belongs.

Exactly. It’s arguable that the Werth deal will be what keeps them from making a bid for Fielder.

I kind of hope Fielder takes a page from Weaver’s book and stays with the Brewers. He could still easily get a 6 year $100 mill+ from the Brewers AND still be making some serious effing bank just like Weaver. Everybody would win.

They really don’t need Fielder as they have Morse and he looks pretty good. Of course, any money they are saving on Morse they are paying to LaRoche…$8 million for LaRoche next year??? Geeze.
