Billy, Billy, Billy… Haven’t you learned anything? Your pitching and on base percentage over everything else protocol just doesn’t work.
Maybe try to dig up a couple of hitters for next year. Or, maybe develop some.

Maybe Wolff won’t allow you to build a successful team. Might screw up his goal of moving to San Jose once his old frat pal Selig yanks the rights away from the Giants.

As a long time fan, I’m absolutely sick of the faux teams you put on the field.

Ha ha. Glad you got that referance. Oscar pointed out that if they don’t spend the money this year, they don’t get it next year. It may only cost them 500k, but a september call up costs 60k. There aren’t any bats in their minors that could contribute. JD Drew is back, so they will always have a good bat on the bench, be it Redick or Drew, so to barely upgrade a right handed bat, It seems like a waste. But my team doesn’t have a 200mil payroll, so what do I know.

If anyone wants to watch the Red Sox batting practice it starts at about 4:10 this afternoon and A.J Burnett will probably be in there for at the most two innings, if that long. This ought to be a king sized ass whipping today, how the Yankees can start this bum against the Sox is beyond me. Have fun Boston, hopefully this will be A.J.’s swan song.

The Sox had Darnell McDonald and his 71 OPS+ mark (that’s .195/.270/.366) as their only right-handed outfield option, and Jackson is on the final month of a one-year deal which will only cost the Sox about $500K. So essentially they upgraded at a needed position without spending much money or giving up any real prospects. So, I guess I think your analysis sucks, hittfamily. But “The Office” is really funny, so you’ve got that going for you.

Wow. The Red Sox got ripped. What is the point of trading for a bad defensive first baseman whose OPS is lower than that of Sam Fuld. This has the feeling of spending money, just to spend money. Theo Epstein=Michael Scott, and Conor Jackson=new Office chairs or a new copy machine.
