It is exactly because other, large budget teams have begun to pay top dollar for those stats that Beane hasn&#039;t been as successful in Oakland recently.  When no one was paying for those skills, he could get good OBP players for little money.  Now the market has shifted.  Finding the newest economic inefficiency hasn&#039;t proved so easy.]]></description>
